Great to meet you!

My name is Jennifer Oung Mathurin, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. You may look like you’re holding everything together, but inside, your mind feels loud, overwhelmed, or constantly on edge. I work with adults and adolescents who are tired of pushing through and want their thoughts, emotions, and focus to finally feel manageable again.

My goal is to help you gain clarity, experience meaningful relief from symptoms, and develop practical tools you can use in everyday life, not just during sessions. Treatment is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to your specific needs, whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, trauma-related concerns, or ongoing life stressors.

I strive to create a calm, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported—while also providing clear guidance and evidence-based care to help you move forward with confidence.

If you’re looking for care that is compassionate, structured, and focused on real-world change, I would be honored to support you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and individualized. I integrate thoughtful medication management with supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, and practical skill-building to support meaningful change.

I believe treatment should feel structured but not rigid, supportive but not passive. Together, we develop a plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle. I focus on helping clients understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what we can do—step by step—to help things improve.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is focused on understanding you. We’ll discuss your current concerns, symptoms, personal history, and what you hope to get out of treatment. You don’t need to have everything figured out—I’ll help guide the conversation and ask thoughtful questions to clarify what’s most important.
