Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with almost 20 years in the mental health field. In working with children, adolescents, and adults, my priority has always been to provide an emotionally safe space where my clients know they are accepted, supported, and heard. My own journey fuels my passion for this work, and I find immense joy in supporting others on their path to healing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies, and tailor my approach to the unique needs of each individual. I primarily work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, anger, trauma, and loss. I help clients recognize and overcome negative beliefs and ineffective behaviors. Taking an active approach, I equip my clients with practical tools that can be used between sessions to promote steady growth and lasting change.

What you can expect from our first session

The first session gives me an opportunity to learn as much as I can about you, what you are struggling with, and what you want to change. It also provides the basis for a plan of treatment, which we establish together. Reaching out for help can be extremely difficult. It is important to me that my clients feel comfortable, and that I provide them with a strategy or tool from the very first session to start them on their path to healing.
