Great to meet you!

I am a seasoned licensed clinician with 15 years of practice. I have worked with families, adolescents and adults to help with relational problems, marital issues, substance use, ADHD and career counseling. I graduated from Fordham University with a masters degree in social work. I love what I do every day and having the opportunity to help others to live their best lives.

My approach to therapy

While I am trained in a multitude of treatment modalities, I prioritize meeting my clients where they are and feel that ongoing feedback through out our work together is critical. I will describe my approach as being someone who is warm, compassionate, open minded and loves a good sense of humor when appropriate of course. Trust is also the foundation of my client relationships and that this can take some time to build upon.

What you can expect from me

This would be the time to share with me what has brought you to treatment. If you have been in treatment before, what did you feel worked and what didn't. I will ask you to share with me your expectations from this experience and let you know that I will ask for honest feedback through out. We will start the discussion about your priorities and identify goals that will be used to measure progress throughout our sessions together.
