Great to meet you!

Welcome! And congratulations on taking an important step towards the life that you want to live. I know that it can be difficult or overwhelming to figure out what therapist might be a good fit for you. I help clients with a wide range of concerns or problems, including depression, anxiety, and adjustment to life transitions, and I specialize in working with clients who have experienced abuse, trauma, or grief. If you feel stuck by things that happened in your past, negative messages about yourself that you’ve internalized, or automatic behavior patterns that are no longer working for you, I can help.

My approach to therapy

I focus on creating a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable being their true selves and openly sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I also utilize a wide range of tools to help clients learn and practice new behavior patterns. I am passionate about helping people to overcome adversity, develop their personal values, improve relationships, identify strengths, and develop skills for managing emotions.

What you can expect from me

You are the expert on your own life, so let’s figure out together what you want your life to look like. I find that my clients value my directness balanced with sincere compassion for the struggles that life brings. I focus on using the strengths that you already have, combined with increased clarity, empowerment, problem-solving, and some new coping skills. We are in this together.
