Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jennifer, and I have openings! I’m a therapist who believes that meaningful change happens in a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and maybe even able to laugh a little along the way. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I show up as a real person, ready to support you with compassion, curiosity, and a sense of humor when it fits.

I work with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready for something to shift. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, career struggles, anxiety, life transitions, or just trying to make sense of your patterns, we’ll explore it together—at your pace, in a way that feels safe and manageable.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, authenticity, and a genuine investment in your growth, I’d be honored to support you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered and strength-based, which means I’m not here to “fix” you (you’re not broken). Instead, we’ll build on what’s already working, increase self-awareness, and gently untangle the patterns that are keeping you stuck. I draw from evidence-based practices while keeping our work flexible, practical, and tailored to you.

Therapy with me include honest conversations, new perspectives, skill-building, and yes, sometimes a little humor to make the hard stuff feel more human. Growth doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical; it can feel connected, empowering, and even a bit lighter.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel a little nerve-wracking—totally normal. My goal in our first session is to help you feel comfortable, not overwhelmed. Think of it less like an interrogation and more like a conversation where we begin getting to know each other.

We’ll talk about what brought you in, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life or relationships. You don’t need to have the “perfect” words or a clear plan.

I’ll also ask some questions about your background, current challenges, and what support has (or hasn’t) worked for you in the past. This helps me understand the bigger picture so we can tailor our work to you.

Just as important, this is a chance for you to get a feel for me. Therapy works best when there’s a good connection, so you’re absolutely allowed to notice how you feel in the space—comfortable, unsure, curious, all of it is welcome.

We’ll go at your pace. There’s no pressure to share everything right away, and we can take breaks, pause, or even laugh when things feel heavy. By the end of the session, we’ll talk about next steps and what working together could look like.
