Great to meet you!

Jennifer is an Atlanta-based Licensed Professional Counselor with 18 years of therapeutic experience. She holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has provided psychotherapy, crisis intervention and crisis stabilization services to children, adolescents and adults. She currently provides telehealth services to adults across the state of Georgia.

Jennifer also brings over 10 years of corporate leadership and business development experience, where she developed systems and processes to expand patient access to mental health care within emergency departments and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. She previously served on the NAMI Georgia Board of Directors, reflecting her ongoing commitment to serving underserved communities.

Driven by an innate passion for wellness, Jennifer earned a certification in Nutrition & Wellness and later launched her nutrition counseling business, Food-Mood, where she facilitated presentations and educated clients on the connection between nutrition and overall well-being. Her dedication to integrative mental health care continued to evolve, leading her to own and operate a juice bar focused on holistic wellness.

Jennifer currently holds certifications as an Integrative Mental Health Provider, Usui Reiki Master and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), allowing her to incorporate mind-body practices into her holistic approach to healing and emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

Jennifer utilizes an integrative mind-body approach to psychotherapy, prioritizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and DBT-informed therapy as primary treatment modalities. This three-pronged approach supports clients in developing effective self-care strategies that research has shown to promote meaningful changes in both thought patterns and behaviors.
