Great to meet you!

My current focus is working with adult clients experiencing anxiety who have experienced relationship challenges including: emotional/psychological and mental trauma in relationships (i.e. recent break ups, separation and/or divorce, family history) changes in family system, career/life transitions and grief and loss.

Early in my career I earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My early career focused on work families and young children (birth to teens) in individual and group settings. For 11 years I was director of an undergraduate program and worked with adults earning their bachelor's degree in social work and overall supervision and teaching of a variety of social work courses in theory and application in and out of the classroom.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is a holistic approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths Based Therapy, Empowering Approach, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems Therapy, Solution Based Therapy, Life Span Development, Cultural Sensitivity and Person in Environment

What you can expect from me

In the first session we will complete an overview of your concerns, what you hope to accomplish, and set goals and objectives which we will review as we move forward. Providing tools, encouraging wellness routines, and beginning to build a nonjudgemental environment for you to explore recent challenges.
