Great to meet you!

I began my career in the mental health service community, first as a case manager and then as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2003. I began providing outpatient treatment to children, adolescents and adults who are facing anxiety, mood disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma and grief. For me it has been a privilege to be able to do this kind of work.

I am genuine in my efforts and motivation to help others get their life back.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative in nature. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients identify thinking and behavior patterns that may be contributing to struggles. Other times it is best to approach differently depending on the issue. I always encourage feedback so that we can figure out what may or may not be helpful, after all this process is for you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is spent having you share what your needs are and developing an understanding of the process. I will gather some background information as well. We will develop a plan that will help you get the most out of our visits.
