Great to meet you!

For several years before becoming a therapist, I worked in the Chemical Industry. During this time, I witnessed firsthand how demanding work environments can impact mental health and relationships. This experience ignited my passion for helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges. I realized that my true calling was to support people in finding their inherent self worth and achieve a balanced, fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

People who's lives are affected by mental health problems often feel as if their life has been turned upside down. They may feel that they have tried everything and nothing has seemed to work for them. One thing I like to carry for my clients is a sense of hope - that life can change and that, given the right treatment program, recovery is possible. My approach goes beyond hope, though, to provide practical ideas for having a life worth living and for treating specific symptoms.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, humorous, sometimes irreverent approach to talking about life's challenges and struggles. However, when it comes to talking about your trauma, I will listen with complete attention. My client's often comment that I am able to remember details about them that they did not expect. I try to tie together small details into a big picture approach to solving problems.
