Great to meet you!

Hello all, my name is Jenny and I am a (LMHC) licensed mental health counselor. I have been in the field for 8 years counting my internship year. I have worked in different settings from domestic violence shelter to a day treatment program with young kids to teens in the community. I specialize in a variety of areas such as relationships, families, adhd, depression, gender dysphoria, anxiety and panic attacks. I have dealt with many crisis' in families and with individuals.

My approach to therapy

I work with my clients using evidenced based treatments using cbt, dbt or tfcbt. I am also working to get more certifications on substance abuse and trauma in adults EMDR. I work with my clients at a low pace working to care for their boundaries, challenging them but also working at a pace that is comfortable. Treatment for me is working with clients at the point in their life where they are then going into areas that are uncomfortable but we are still doing the work a step at a time.

What you can expect from me

The goals for sessions is to provide safety and comfortability for my clients while still challenging them to push through for best outcomes.

I create an environment of caring, loving and supporting my clients to provide a safe but warm environment.
