Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m a first-generation Mexican American therapist, fluent in both English and Spanish. I’ve been a social worker for six years, with experience in immigration shelters, outpatient/inpatient treatment, and hospice care. I specialize in supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and self-esteem. I’m especially passionate about working with the Latino community, as well as anyone looking to grow, heal, and become the best version of themselves.

My approach to therapy

I truly believe that each individual has the power within themselves to create the life they desire. While we can’t change what has happened in the past, we can work together to understand how those experiences have shaped you and identify what you need to move forward. In therapy, we’ll focus on your strengths, build new skills, and work toward the goals that matter most to you—whether that means making changes in your life, navigating challenges, or simply learning to feel more comfortable and confident in your own skin. Your journey is unique to you. I'm simply here to support you in getting there.

What you can expect from me

Our first session includes introductions, getting to know you, and learning more about what brought you to therapy. I strive to create a warm, easygoing, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable laying it all out on the table. This is your space and your time. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and where you’d like to start.
