Great to meet you!

Hello and Welcome!

I have been providing behavioral health treatment to child and adolescents for five plus years. I work with individuals struggling with issues related to adjustment to divorced or split families, grief associated with death or loss, trauma symptoms, self-regulation, ADHD/impulsivity concerns, anger and aggression, depression, social anxiety, those who struggle with transitions between activities, bullying, LGBTQ+, and many more.

Prior to opening my private practice I worked for an intensive in-home program called IICAPS for three and a half years and then transitioned to the role of a school-based clinician; which I still do full time.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I like to work collaboratively with my clients and families. I usually take a holistic and systems approach to treatment. Meaning I look at the individual needs and the overall well-being of the client and how all aspects of their life; family, environment, social, school, work, trauma, etc. all play a role in how we function.

Some techniques I like to use are play, art, mindfulness, talk, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) all while being trauma-informed.

What you can expect from our first session

My intent is to provide a relaxing and comfortable environment that is a safe space for clients to open up.
