Great to meet you!

I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and my Master of Social Work from San Diego State University. For the past 16 years, I have worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Women's Health and Homeless Programs. This experience has deepened my appreciation for the many ways life circumstances can affect our well-being and reinforced the importance of providing care with dignity, empathy, and respect.

My approach to therapy

I believe that building a trusting therapeutic relationship is an important part of the process, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. My goal is to meet you where you are, honor your unique experiences, and work alongside you to identify your strengths, explore challenges, and move toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's normal to feel a little nervous. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel comfortable being yourself. During our first session, we'll get to know each other, explore what brings you to therapy, and discuss your goals. You can share at your own pace, without pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we'll begin identifying ways to build on your strengths and support your well-being.
