Great to meet you!
I practice integrative mental health care grounded in the understanding that the whole person is greater than the sum of their parts. My work bridges evidence-based Western psychotherapy with culturally responsive, holistic, and indigenous-informed perspectives, honoring both scientific rigor and lived, ancestral knowledge.
As a clinician, researcher, mother, first-generation daughter, and doctoral student, I approach therapy with humility, discernment, and deep respect for the resilience of individuals and communities. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative and ethical partnership—one rooted in safety, attunement, and unconditional positive regard.
My clinical orientation emphasizes personal agency, responsibility without shame, and the development of discernment between trauma-based responses and intuitive wisdom. Diagnoses and frameworks are used as tools for understanding and growth, not as definitions of identity. Clients are supported in accessing their internal strengths, building nervous system regulation, and cultivating self-trust within relational and community contexts.
I hold a reverence for the self, for one another, and for the interconnected systems we live within. My presence in the therapeutic space is intentional, compassionate, and grounded in ethical care. I believe healing occurs when individuals feel seen, respected, and empowered to reclaim authorship of their lives—establishing healthy boundaries, fostering meaningful relationships, and living in alignment with their values and truth.
This work is guided by the belief that when we honor our inherent dignity and capacity for growth, healing becomes a process of restoration, clarity, and sustainable well-being.
