Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel understood, challenged, and supported without judgment. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and men’s issues. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from the life they want to live, and together we work toward creating meaningful and lasting change.

My professional background includes working in both community mental health and correctional mental health settings, where I have helped individuals manage complex emotional, behavioral, and trauma-related challenges. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds while providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

I strive to create a warm, collaborative environment where clients can feel safe exploring difficult experiences, developing healthier coping skills, and building greater confidence in themselves and their relationships. Whether you’re seeking support for a specific challenge or looking for personal growth, therapy can be a powerful step toward healing and creating the life you deserve.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy, recognizing that every individual brings unique experiences, challenges, and strengths to the therapeutic process. I integrate evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative. Together, we will identify your goals, explore barriers that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you create meaningful change. My approach balances compassion and accountability, providing support while also helping clients build insight, resilience, and confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.

Above all, I want clients to feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and my goal is to make the first session feel comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free. During our initial appointment, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brought you to therapy, exploring your current challenges, and identifying what you hope to gain from the process.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, stress, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to understand your unique situation and develop a plan that feels meaningful and achievable.

By the end of our first session, clients often leave with a greater understanding of their concerns, a clearer sense of direction, and practical strategies they can begin using right away. Most importantly, my goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and confident that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
