Great to meet you!

Therapy begins with feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood. That is where I start with every client, whether you are carrying anxiety, working through depression or trauma, sitting with grief, or trying to find your footing in a relationship or a big life transition. I take a whole-person, strengths-based, and nonjudgmental approach. Your experiences, your relationships, and your strengths all play a role in your well-being, so we look at the whole picture rather than one symptom. I will walk alongside you with support and guidance, helping you gain clarity, build confidence, and create meaningful change in your life. My goal is to create a genuine, welcoming space where you can be yourself, feel understood, and move toward the life you want. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University, and I have spent four years supporting clients from a wide range of backgrounds. If any of this sounds like what you have been looking for, I would love to hear what is on your mind. Reach out and we can find a time to talk.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and centered on you. I believe you know yourself best, and my role is to help you feel heard, gain clarity, and understand what may be holding you back. In practice that looks a little different depending on what you need. With anxiety and depression, we may use cognitive behavioral therapy to notice the thought patterns keeping you stuck, plus solution focused work so you feel momentum early. With trauma, I use trauma focused CBT and attachment based work, always at a pace you set. With couples, I draw on the Gottman Method to change how the two of you talk to each other. Narrative therapy and motivational interviewing come in when you are sorting out what you actually want. Together we will build on your strengths and work toward meaningful change in a way that feels authentic to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. I’ll listen to what’s been going on, what brought you to therapy, and what you’d like support with. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We’ll take it at your pace and start wherever feels most comfortable for you.
