Great to meet you!

I am a San Diego local. Outside of work, I enjoy going to stand-up comedy shows, trying new foods, and traveling. I value family, autonomy, and maintaining meaningful connections.

About my past experience as an associate, I’ve worked in inpatient programs for people with both mental health and substance use challenges, across school and foster care related settings and most recently licensed working with people of all ages and diagnoses from mild to severe. I've been working in the mental health field since 2020.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is what’s called integrative, which basically means I draw from different evidence-based methods to best support each person. I focus on the here and now and how you’re functioning today, while also exploring your past. I like to understand each person as a whole, not just one part of them.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about getting to know each other and reviewing logistics. It's meant to be a safe space where you can share what's bringing you to therapy. I'll introduce myself, explain my style, go over what to expect, and discuss confidentiality and policies. My goal is for you to feel respected and comfortable sharing whatever's on your mind.
