Great to meet you!

As the founder of Voice & Value Psychotherapy PC, I offer bilingual (English/Spanish) therapy grounded in warmth, respect, and cultural humility. I hold a Doctorate in Psychology and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey, with clinical experience spanning trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and the stressors that come with navigating identity, acculturation, and belonging.

My doctoral research focused on acculturation stress and discrimination within Latine communities, and that lens continues to shape how I understand the ways culture, environment, and lived experience shape mental health. I work with adults seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and the weight of stressors that often go unspoken. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and never judged.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to who you are rather than to a diagnosis alone. I draw from evidence-based frameworks while paying close attention to the cultural, relational, and systemic factors that shape your experience. Therapy with me is not about being told what to do, it is a partnership where we work together to understand your patterns, build on your strengths, and move toward the goals that matter to you. I believe healing happens in relationship, so I prioritize creating a safe, affirming environment where you can speak openly and be met with genuine understanding.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, with no pressure to have everything figured out. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to work on, and any questions you have about the process. I will ask about your background and current concerns so I can understand your full picture, but you are always in control of what you choose to share and how quickly we move. My aim for that first meeting is simple: for you to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and confident that this is a space where your voice matters.
