Great to meet you!

Hello. My name is Jennifer Sawyer. I am currently a LPC. I began my counseling career in 2000 working in addiction which led to working with mental health. I am a mother of six with a big heart and a bigger heart for my 13 grandchildren. I have lived a good life and not always easy, but those experiences have molded me into who I am today. I would love to be part of your recovery process meeting you where you are at.

My approach to therapy

I know that not everyone has the same story or struggles. I believe that each one of us deserve an individualized approach to treatment. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly, and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way.

What you can expect from me

Our first therapy session is primarily an introductory meeting focused on building rapport, understanding your concerns, and setting goals for future sessions. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure.
