Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor with over 15 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I am a compassionate, person-centered therapist who will help you explore your life and feel empowered. Whether you seek support to address substance use or strive for improved mental health, I will be your advocate and your ally.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is building a relationship of compassion and trust, allowing safety and comfort. Therapy is a partnership where we work together to explore your goals, creating a plan to achieve them in a way that makes you comfortable. I use evidence based interventions to help explore a deeper meaning to your thoughts, feelings and behaviors so you can gain insight into your life, cope with challenges and make thoughtful decisions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to gather information and learn your goals for therapy. You can expect to leave your sessions feeling validated, supported and heard. Developing solutions to life's problems takes time, and the journey to self discovery is ongoing. I am your ally as you take this journey, instilling hope for your future and good quality of life.
