I’m licensed in Iowa and Florida and currently accepting telehealth clients in both states.

I’ve worked with kids, teens, and families for most of my career, in both therapeutic settings and private practice. I help children and adolescents who are dealing with anxiety, big emotions, behavior struggles, or going through changes that feel hard to handle.

I know it’s not always easy to reach out, especially as a parent. I try to create a space where kids can just be themselves and where you don’t feel like you’re figuring it all out alone.

I keep things pretty real and flexible. I meet kids and teens where they are, not where they “should” be. Some sessions are more about building skills, some are just about helping them feel understood.

I don’t expect kids to open up right away. That takes time. I also stay connected with parents so you feel supported, while still giving your child space to have their own process.

The first session is just a starting point. We’ll talk about what’s been going on and what concerns you have.

I’ll also spend time helping your child get comfortable. They don’t have to talk much at first if they don’t want to. We go at their pace and take it from there.
