Jennifer Smith

Hello, my name is Jennifer Smith and I'm the owner of Vibrant Health Counseling and Teletherapy. I'm a licensed professional counselor in the state of Ohio with 18 years of clinical counseling experience. I have experience working with a variety of behavioral health issues but certainly have a specialty in addictions, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem issues. Health, wellness, and nutrition are special interest areas for me, and I love seeing my clients improve their overall health.

My sessions include a collaborative approach. I believe you are the expert of your own life and my role is to help empower you to make your own decisions. We will work together towards your goals while I gently challenge any negative mindsets that may be holding you back.

I use a combination of solution focused, dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapies, and motivational interviewing styles.

I'm a relaxed and down to earth person. I will ask questions and be inquisitive about your life. You will feel heard and understood. I will provide education and homework assignments, when appropriate. I believe you will feel more empowered after our sessions. I use humor on occasion because life is actually quite funny, and it can be a relief to laugh at ourselves and keep perspective.
