I have always been someone who loves to help others. I thrive doing this work and it is what I always wanted to do. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I attended SUNY Old Westbury which is in New York. I did all my schooling in NY and am licensed as a counselor in both Texas and New York. I am also a Certified Reiki Master and I do incorporate Spirituality into my practice which provides a more Holistic approach.
I love using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; in my experiences with clients this is the most effective method and the way to create change from within that is sustainable. I do incorporate other modalities and techniques including Spiritually based ones so you get a very custom approach tailored to your specific needs when you come to see me.
I have a lot of success in treating people and the word on the street is that my clients tend to start feeling better pretty quickly. We will be working on your mind set, your thoughts and how they are the foundation for everything in your life. I put a lot of focus on moving forward. I do not allow my clients to ruminate in the past. I give you tools and routines to implement outside of our sessions and as long as you are committed t doing the work there is nothing YOU cannot overcome.
