Great to meet you!

When you’re running on empty, low on energy, overwhelmed, and your "check-engine lights" are flashing, know you don’t have to carry it all alone. As a single parent, I understand parenthood, navigating through life's ups and downs, and those difficult conversations. With over 17 years of experience supporting families, children, and adults, I understand the challenges of moving forward each day. Whether you’re seeking guidance as a family, couple, or individual, I offer empathy, understanding, and practical tools to help you find balance and healing. Let's help you get back to feeling like "YOU" again.

My approach to therapy

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel genuinely heard and respected. Guided by my core values of empathy, integrity, and cultural humility, I strive to build trusting relationships with each client from childhood to adulthood and through life's many transitions. My work focuses on helping individuals process trauma, reduce symptoms of PTSD, navigate new, long-standing, and challenging relationships, and develop effective coping strategies and emotional regulation skills. I also provide education about mental health and trauma responses to empower clients and strengthen their support systems.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a comfortable, supportive environment. I’ll ask about your concerns, goals, and history to better understand your unique needs. Together, we’ll discuss what you hope to achieve in therapy, review confidentiality and how sessions work, and outline an initial plan tailored to you. This meeting is conversational and paced at your comfort level, so you’ll have plenty of space to share, ask questions, and set priorities for our work together.
