My path to this work blends clinical training, specialized trauma and somatic credentials, and years of experience across diverse mental health settings. With state-endorsed training in childhood development, trauma-informed and somatic therapy certifications, and additional training in DBT, ACT, CBT and attachment-focused approaches, I bring a body-based lens to healing. I've walked alongside infants, children, teens, adults, and families, including adoption-related work, IOP care, and leadership in substance-use treatment. Wherever you're starting from, I create a safe, collaborative space that honors your own pace and story. Together, we'll build emotional regulation, deeper self-trust, and lasting resilience far beyond our sessions. I see continuing education as part of showing up fully for my clients, not just a requirement to check off. I regularly pursue trainings in somatic therapy, trauma treatment, attachment work, and nervous system regulation, staying current with research that deepens how I understand healing in the body and mind. I also seek consultation and peer supervision, learning from other clinicians experiences and blind spots. Beyond formal training, I stay curious through reading, workshops, and reflecting on what helps clients feel safer and more connected. Growth is ongoing for me, just as it is for the people I work with, and I try to model the same openness, humility, and willingness to keep learning that I hope to cultivate in the therapy room.
