Great to meet you!
I’m a Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor with over 11 years of experience providing therapy to adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. From the beginning of my career, helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and discover their inner strengths has been my passion.
My clinical focus includes trauma (I am trained in EMDR), anxiety, depression, shame, substance use disorders, and overall wellness. I have completed both the EFT Externship and Core Skills training—core components toward becoming an ICEEFT-certified Emotionally Focused Therapist. I also integrate principles of overall wellness into my therapeutic approach when appropriate.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Community Counseling in 2013 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2017. In addition to my work with clients, I supervise residents working toward licensure, supporting the next generation of mental health professionals.
As a Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, I have spent many years supporting individuals and families impacted by substance use, including roles as a supervisor in an Intensive Outpatient Program and conducting emergency mental health assessments in a hospital setting. My approach is compassionate and evidence-based, always tailored to the unique needs of each person.
In addition to clinical work, I taught a college course on Family Development for four years, which deepened my understanding of relational dynamics and life span transitions—insight that I integrate into my therapeutic work.
Whether you're seeking support through a challenging time, looking to strengthen your relationships, or working to break free from the cycle of substance use, I offer a safe, respectful space to explore and heal.
If you're ready to take the next step toward wellness and balance, I’d be honored to walk with you. Let’s start the journey together.
