Great to meet you!

I regularly work with individuals facing a variety of life's diverse challenges including anxiety/ panic, family-of-origin concerns, depression, maternal mental health, transition to parenthood, trauma, grief/ loss, sexual issues, and career related concerns. I also have a specialization in sex and relationship therapy.

My clients are often seeking a combination of clarity, coping skills, and in general -- more ease and happiness in their daily life. I also have a unique specialization in "relationship therapy for one" where we unpack what might be keeping you stuck or unhappy when it comes to your overall relationship health/ satisfaction.

I have been a licensed therapist for over a decade and received my training at state of the art educational institutes including Syracuse University and other hospital and outpatient centers across NY and Manhattan. I have also sought out ongoing participation in professional clinical consultation groups with some of the most influential therapists and thought leaders of our time. These varied and diverse professional training experiences enable me to provide the best possible care to each client I serve. In addition, I also provide training and mentorship for new therapists looking to specialize in sex and relationship health.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, encouraging, and active. While my clients do most of the talking, you can expect to feel both challenged and supported where needed.

I deeply enjoy working with a diverse caseload and work with folks of all social locations and backgrounds. I consider myself a life-long learner and am engaged in further education and training on an ongoing basis to help me grow both as a person and a therapist.

**It's helpful to note that therapy is most effective when approached as a meaningful commitment. While brief, structured work can be helpful in some cases, deeper and lasting change typically unfolds through consistent, weekly sessions that allow trust, insight, and momentum to build over time.

***If you are interested in a few sessions only or are feeling "in crisis mode" at present and want more brief support (3-4 sessions total) please mention this explicitly in our initial call so that I can best assist you in selecting a short term program that would be ideal for you.

Therapy services (generally speaking) require at least 6 months of weekly sessions for a complete course of treatment depending on your specific needs.

I look forward to having the opportunity to meet you soon!

What you can expect from me

Our first few sessions will help you to get to know my style/ approach and feel comfortable so that we have the opportunity to do our best work together. From there, we'll have a clear idea of your needs at this time and can begin to design a thoughtful plan together to help you accomplish your personal goals.
