Great to meet you!

Welcome and I commend you for taking the first step toward self-discovery and healing. I am a bilingual-Spanish speaking, licensed clinical social worker. I carry 12+ years of experience in the mental health field, working across various settings which include community health, child protective services and education. I am a proud graduate of Fordham University, having obtained a master's in clinical social work. I have a profound appreciation for neuroscience and holistic care. Understanding our mind, body and spiritual connection is necessary in taking control over our day-to-day experiences. When we truly know ourselves, we can be our BEST selves. I enjoy working with individuals who are interested in change and willing to put in the work.

My approach to therapy

My approach is always client centered. You steer the process, and I highlight areas that could use care and attention, all while providing a holistic approach to your healing and self-discovery. I am also solution oriented and will help you explore the best options for your particular circumstances.

What you can expect from me

Our first session starts with the end in mind. I want to know what is the end goal(s) you with to achieve. I'll ask various questions and explore what your strengths and struggles are. We'll talk about other aspects of your life to get a better picture of where you come from as it relates to your biology, environment, and experiences. Our first session is like dipping your toes in a body of water. We both will get a feel for the temperature, and whether or not it's comfortable and safe to proceed further. Relationships take time to build, and that is essential in the therapeutic process. The goal to help you feel safe, respected, and heard.
