Jennifer vonPerbandt

My name is Jennifer vonPerbandt. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with specialization in Crisis and Trauma. I am currently a school counselor and a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC). I am dedicated, empathetic, compassionate, and caring. I will push my clients out of their comfort zone, if I feel it is necessary, but only so that therapy can progress.

My specialty is working with children and teens who have experienced trauma. I typically use a Cognitive Behavioral approach to therapy to help my clients see negative thinking errors and change them to a healthy positive way of thinking.

Our first session will typically be an information-gathering session with parent and child. My goal is for my client to return ready to improve themselves.
