Great to meet you!

What empowers people to change? A clear direction and the tools needed to succeed. Thats why my counseling approach focuses on YOU and taking steps toward your own definition of success. With a mixture of existentialism, family systems, and cognitive therapies, we will work to discover what you hope to change in your life and walk through the steps needed to get there. Whether you are struggling with aspects of your relationships, identity, life stressors, grief, trauma, or you just need some general direction, we will focus on what matters to you.

My approach to therapy

Although my counseling is always based in evidence-based approaches, I know we are all different. Our unique experiences, environment, and biology shapes who we are and effects what we value, hope for, and need. Working together to explore what that means for you is such an honor.

What you can expect from me

Folx who choose to work with me can expect to be heard and accepted from the first session. Although initial sessions are often structured to allow time for technicalities and for me to get a good overview of your story, most sessions are guided in a client-centered way. As a therapist, I typically bring knowledge of research and theory to help bring perspective, but I respect that your story and goals are your own. We will work together throughout your sessions to focus on what matters to you.
