Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience presently providing tele-mental health therapy services to individual adults, couples, and families. I have gained experience with and received specialized training in a wide variety of issues over the years including Mood disorders, ADD/VAST, OCD, Eating Disorders, issues specific to LGBTQ+ individuals and communities, addiction, anxiety, loss, isolation, stress caused by major life transitions, interpersonal conflict in families and romantic relationships, parenting, issues specific to seniors, and more.

My approach to therapy

I am dedicated to providing a safe and judgement-free environment in which you can openly engage in self-exploration. I believe that you are the expert in your own process and that I am here to provide empathy, validation, and guidance towards attaining your goals. I would describe my therapeutic approach with individuals as primarily derived from cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy and solution- focused interventions. My approach with couples is informed similarly by CBT/DBT as well as borrowing from the Gottman method.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a session with me to be a collaboration in which we set a goal, look at ways in which you may already be either achieving or close to achieving this goal, and looking at how you can use skills in the present to overcome barriers to success. I tailor work between sessions to meet your needs and use a wide variety of resources to support you in doing the work that will help you further on your path.
