Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward healing takes courage, and I'm glad you're here. I'm Jennifer, a licensed clinical mental health therapist in Utah, and I create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what's weighing on you and start to feel like yourself again. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and substance or alcohol use, and I'm here to walk alongside you as you build resilience and create lasting change. If you're ready to begin, I'd love to meet you.

My approach to therapy

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, so I combine evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and Seeking Safety with a warm, client-centered approach that meets you where you are. I primarily work with adults managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and stress, helping you build self-efficacy, set healthy boundaries, and work through substance or alcohol use at a pace that feels right for you. Together we'll focus on practical skills and real progress, not just talk.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll talk through what brought you to therapy and any questions you have. Therapy is a collaborative process, so we'll start mapping out what meaningful progress looks like for you, and by the end of the hour we'll sketch a preliminary plan, including how often we'll meet and which approaches, like CBT or EMDR, might fit best. There's no pressure to share more than feels comfortable right away. My only goal for our first meeting is to build trust and make sure you feel supported and heard.
