Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Jennifer Wymbs, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, For more than 30 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through some of life's most challenging seasons. My professional experience spans community mental health, school social work, developmental disabilities, correctional mental health, crisis intervention, and family systems work, giving me a broad understanding of the many factors that influence emotional well-being and healthy relationships.

  • My passion is helping people move beyond simply managing problems toward creating lasting change. I believe healing happens when individuals and families understand their strengths, learn healthier patterns, and develop practical tools that restore connection, resilience, and hope.

My approach to therapy

Clients often describe me as warm, authentic, approachable, and empowering. I strive to create an environment where people feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. I believe that healing begins with trust, and that meaningful change happens through collaboration rather than judgment.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another. While I'll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, I also want to learn about who you are; not just what you're going through. We'll explore your strengths, your relationships, your support system, and the experiences that have shaped your life.

You don't have to know exactly what to say or where to begin. You don't have to worry about being judged or having everything figured out. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Your only job is to show up as you are. We'll take the next steps together.
