Great to meet you!

I'm Jennifer Yim, a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. I received my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. I specialize in a variety of topics such as relationships, communication problems, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, couples, families, individuals, etc.

My approach to therapy

What you can expect when working with me is a warm, empathic environment that helps challenge your perceptions, learn new skills and explore alternatives to the problem at hand. When working with individuals, couples and families I seek to help them find healing and connection in not only their relationships but also within themselves. This change can be found through the challenging of the perceptions, not making assumptions and really seeking to understand ourselves and each other better.

What you can expect from me

I seek to have client's take away confidence in themselves, improvements in their relationships and the way they view themselves, healing from past trauma, and feeling loved and validated in where they are at throughout their healing process. My goal is to help you meet the goals you set for yourself and for you to know that you are redeemable, loved and valued.
