Great to meet you!

Hey y’all - I’m really glad you’re here. Taking the first step toward healing isn’t easy, and I truly honor the courage it takes to reach out.

My name is Jennique, though many people know me as Ms. Jai. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, teens, and adults navigating the effects of trauma. I help clients retrain their brains and calm their nervous systems so they can better manage anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and life’s unexpected transitions.

Over the years, I’ve helped people move from simply surviving to feeling steady and from steady to genuinely thriving. My work isn’t just about reducing symptoms; it’s about helping you feel grounded, empowered, and more like yourself again.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, on edge, or exhausted from carrying everything on your own, you don’t have to do it alone anymore.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered and conversational. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are, without judgment or pressure.

I often describe therapy as a road trip. You’re in the driver’s seat, and I’m right there in the passenger seat. You set the direction and pace, and I help navigate, notice patterns, and offer guidance along the way. This is a true partnership. I bring my training and experience in mental health, and you bring your lived experience. Together, we use both to help you reach your goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to connect and see if we’re a good fit for one another. We’ll talk about what brings you in and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy.

I strongly believe that a healthy therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful progress. You deserve to feel comfortable, supported, and heard. Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and I fully support your right to find the provider who feels right for you.
