Great to meet you!

I am a licensed social worker with four years of clinical and supervisory experience. I received a Masters in Social Work from Simmons University in Boston Massachusetts. Initially my work was focused in Forensic Social Work providing support to survivors of sexual abuse, DV survivors and unaccompanied immigrant minors. I also use my clinical practice in the treatment racial trauma, oriented in the advocacy for racial & economic equity.

My approach to therapy

I hope to assist clients with engaging in healthy behaviors to create a sense of meaning & purpose in life with the use of Evidence-Based treatments which promotes better functioning & increase satisfaction in clients' lives by acknowledging trauma & celebrating diversity. I support clients to discover & nurture ways to enjoy their lives by identifying & treating the barriers that inhibit joy.

My treatment approach of individuals promotes the strengthening of emotional bonds by improving communication & empathy towards self and others. I seek to alleviate emotional & mental suffering by promoting a positive sense of self, & lessen feelings of anxiety in a holistic approach.
