I am Jenny Couch. I am a licensed therapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth. With extensive experience in trauma recovery, anxiety, and depression, I believe in the power of therapy to transform lives and am dedicated to guiding my clients on their journey to well-being.
I have a Master of Counseling degree and a Master in Forensic Psychology degree, and many years of experience as a therapist. I also have firsthand, personal experiences that has allowed me to understand the struggles of mental health issues. I believe in the transformative power of therapy. My goal is to be a therapist that will explore better ways of thinking and living.
My therapy preference is CBT.
CBT teaches you tools to challenge unhelpful thoughts, manage emotions more effectively, and make small behavioral changes that add up to big improvements
The first session is really about connection. Clients can expect a relaxed conversation where they get to share their story at their own pace. I’ll ask questions to understand what’s going on, what they’re hoping for, and how I can best support them. We’ll talk through what therapy might look like and make sure they feel comfortable with the process. My goal is for them to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
