Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m a licensed clinical social worker and have been working in the mental health field since 2018. I received my MSW at VCU and then completed my LCSW in 2022. I have specialities in substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. I have worked with adolescents and adults, but particularly love helping people through difficult life transitions!

My approach to therapy

I have a very warm and empathetic approach to therapy. I am well-versed in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing just to name a few. I love using CBT methods to help re-frame unhelpful thought patterns and help clients live life to their full potential, without getting bogged down by unhealthy thinking patterns.

What you can expect from me

In our first session I’ll be getting to know you and what brought you in to meet me at this point in your life! I will likely ask some mental health history questions. We will also complete a few screeners as well to get a starting point, but the focus will be on having a natural and candid conversation around what I can specifically help you with right now.
