Great to meet you!

Many of the adults I work with grew up feeling unseen—whether because of childhood trauma, emotionally unavailable parents, or painful relationship patterns. Those early experiences can stay with us, shaping the way we see ourselves and connect with others. Over time, it can feel like you’re stuck in the same cycles, questioning your worth, or struggling to build the relationships you want.

Becoming a therapist felt like a natural calling: a way to combine compassion with practical tools to help people heal, grow, and find balance. Over the years, I’ve seen how therapy can transform lives—restoring hope, strengthening relationships, and helping clients rewrite the stories they tell themselves. That transformation is what inspires me every day to do this work with warmth, empathy, and genuine care. I absolutely love what I do and I feel very blessed to do this work everyday.

My approach to therapy

I started Life Balance Psychotherapy to create a space where you don’t have to pretend everything’s fine. Here, you can lay down the weight of ‘having it all together’ and be real about what’s hard. With warmth, compassion, and a touch of humor, I’ll walk alongside you—whether you’re healing old wounds or navigating today’s struggles.

What you can expect from me

I know starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so I do my best to make the process comfortable and supportive from day one. In our first session, we’ll talk about your story, the challenges you’re facing, and what you’d like to change. It’s a safe, judgment-free space where we can figure things out together. Progress can mean many things—less anxiety or depression, better communication, healing old wounds, or learning healthier ways to cope. I especially enjoy working with adults and couples facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, or relationship struggles. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and often sprinkled with humor, because I believe growth doesn’t have to feel heavy.

You matter. Your feelings matter. And you deserve to take up space in your own life. If you’re ready to feel more confident, connected, and in control of your story, I’d be honored to walk that journey with you.
