Great to meet you!

Welcome!! Glad you're here!

With over 20 years of experience as a social worker in diverse settings, I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy that honors your unique story. Whether you've faced challenges related to mental health, trauma, relationships, life transitions, or a stressful event, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore, heal, and grow. Drawing from my work in varied environments including home, school, clinic, and community based intervention, I offer a wide perspective on varied circumstances and practical tools to help you achieve your goals for therapy. Together, we’ll work at your pace to help you achieve a greater sense of how to manage life stressors and an improved level of functioning.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic approach to treatment, which allows for flexibility based on what you seek in meeting your treatment needs while also leaving opportunity for varied forms of intervention.

Areas of specialty include:

Strategies for youth, parents, and young adults navigating neurodivergence, school, and greater independence....Empowering women experiencing a loss of self-identity amidst family demands, adjusting to life post-divorce, or coping with other transitions....Couples struggling to balance the demands of a relationship despite history of individual trauma, as well as those navigating the complexities of a blended family....Guidance and support for caregivers trying to balance the needs of their own families while coping with aging parents and resulting unexpected demands.

What you can expect from me

We will develop goals together for treatment and areas of focus, but my overall goal for you is to leave each session feeling like you got something out of it. This might be validation, strategies for coping, added insight, or perhaps simply the feeling that you're not irrevocably broken, but rather in need of a little guidance and encouragement towards the next steps in your life.
