Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jenny, a licensed mental health counselor with 12 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, and depression, and I believe that healing begins when people feel truly heard, seen, and understood. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on empowering you to build the skills and confidence to take charge of your life. Whether you’re facing a difficult season or seeking lasting personal growth, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you as we explore your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and choices together. Therapy is a partnership built on trust, honesty, and collaboration.

I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood while also feeling supported to grow. My approach is compassionate and empathetic, but I also believe that meaningful change often requires us to gently face the things that keep us stuck. I won’t hesitate to ask thoughtful questions, offer new perspectives, or challenge unhelpful patterns when it serves your goals.

Whether you’re working through trauma, anxiety, depression, or navigating a difficult season of life, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and feel empowered to make choices that align with the life you want to create. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you while celebrating progress along the way.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, your personal history, and the goals or changes you’d like to work toward. This helps me better understand your unique experiences so we can create a plan that feels meaningful and tailored to your needs.

Just as importantly, the first session is a chance for you to get to know me. Finding the right therapist is an important part of the healing process, and I believe therapy is most effective when you feel comfortable, understood, and connected with your counselor. I encourage you to ask questions, share any concerns, and take time to decide whether I feel like the right fit for your journey. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you can feel safe being yourself from the very beginning.
