Jenny received her Masters in Counseling at Texas A&M University-Commerce. She served as a Police Officer, Teacher, School Counselor, Assistant Principal and then a Behavior Specialist in education for 16 years-servicing all age levels. She went to UNT for Play Therapy training and obtained her Equine Specialist certification for Equine Assisted Therapy through PATH, Intl.
Jenny's many years working in education gave her the experience needed to be able to work closely with children of all ages. She is able to quickly build bonds with them that give them the motivation for change. She also works well with adults. Her years working in the Criminal Justice system led her to become a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor to assist clients working with addiction.
Clients can expect to feel seen and heard, and we will work through any presenting issues togeher and make a plan together. I believe every person is unique, so their therapy approach should be too. ..
