Hello, I’m Dr. Jenny and I’m glad you’re here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision. I also have a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology. Between my education and experiences, I have over 13 years of experience specializing in working with older adults.
Older adults are the most diverse population and there are many transitions. You may need to explore relationships, sense of purpose, grief, retirement, caregiving, and/or dementia. I meet you where you are at by providing compassionate, evidence-based care to help you navigate life transitions and promote emotional well-being.
Therapy is a relationship. The first step is navigating if we are a good fit. Next, we will work together to explore what brings you to therapy. Throughout this process we will explore and evaluate your needs and goals. I value empathy, wanting you to feel as if I am truly present with you, and providing a sense of humor along the way.
