Great to meet you!

I'm a Christian, licensed clinical social worker in California with over 17 years of experience working in various settings. I specialize in helping adults heal from childhood trauma—the wounds from family, culture, and early experiences that still shape how you see yourself, God, and your relationships today. I believe true healing happens when evidence-based treatment and faith work together, and I'd be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

My approach to therapy

If you grew up in a home where love was shown through expectations and actions rather than words, where emotions weren't discussed, or where you learned early to adapt, keep the peace, and quietly carry your pain—you're not alone, and it's not too late to heal. I have deep experience walking with Asian Americans and adult children of immigrants through exactly these experiences. My style is gentle yet direct: I'll help you recognize the patterns rooted in your past, understand how they show up now, and empower you to change them—you won't be doing this alone; I'll be with you at every step. For clients who desire it, I integrate Christian faith into our work in a way that honors where you are in your own journey.

What you can expect from me

I primarily use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help your mind and body reprocess painful memories and experiences so they lose their grip on you, alongside mindfulness-based strategies to calm anxiety, quiet the inner critic, and reconnect you with the present. I also draw on CBT and psychodynamic approaches as needed. Whether you're working through childhood trauma, navigating cultural and family pressures, or seeking to align your faith with your mental health, we'll start exactly where you are. When you're ready to take the first step, I'm here.
