Great to meet you!

In my 20 years of experience in the field, I have helped many adults cope with anxiety, trauma, depression, OCD, and general mental wellness issues. As a health service psychologist, I complete psychological evaluations for medical procedures and help patients with the management of chronic pain and illness.

My approach to therapy

I use humor, word pictures, and stories to help create insights and connection. As a clinician, I use a range of approaches including CBT, EMDR, interpersonal, and narrative as appropriate. Change is hard and slow for many of us. I will often challenge clients, but I don't make decisions for them.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a range of questions, but ultimately they will set the tone and control what they choose to share. We won't solve a lot of problems during the first session, but the client will feel heard and hopefully understood.
