Great to meet you!
¡Hola! I’m Jenny López, LCSW, IECMHS (she/her/ella), founder of Rooted in Nature Therapy. I’m a bilingual English and Spanish-speaking therapist supporting adults across California, including caregivers, parents, helping professionals, and people navigating demanding seasons of life.
Born in Oaxaca, with Mixteca roots and raised in Southern California, I bring both lived and professional experience to conversations about culture, identity, belonging, relationships, caregiving, and emotional well-being.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist, I have extensive experience supporting individuals and families through anxiety, trauma, chronic stress and burnout, life transitions, relationship concerns, and maternal and perinatal mental health challenges.
My work is culturally responsive, relational, strengths-based, and nature-informed. Through Rooted in Nature Therapy, I also integrate ecotherapy, drawing on our relationship with nature as a source of grounding, restoration, perspective, and connection. I offer therapy through telehealth, office-based sessions, and outdoor Walk & Talk sessions, according to season.
