Great to meet you!

At Counseling Fredericksburg, PLLC, I provide compassionate, client-centered counseling for children, families, women, men, and older adults. I specialize in play therapy with children, using developmentally appropriate, evidence-based interventions to help children express emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen relationships. I work collaboratively with families, honoring each family’s unique values, strengths, and dynamics.

I also offer counseling services to elderly adults, both in my office and in nursing home settings, supporting individuals through life transitions, grief, loss, health changes, and the emotional challenges that can arise later in life. In addition, I provide individual counseling for adult women and men, as well as children, addressing concerns such as stress, anxiety, relationships, identity, and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and individualized, drawing from a variety of theoretical models to meet each client where they are. I believe healing occurs when mind, body, and spirit are supported together, and I am respectful of each client’s spiritual or faith-based beliefs. When desired, spirituality can be thoughtfully integrated into the counseling process as a source of meaning, grounding, and resilience.

Please note: I do not accept current child custody cases.
