Hello! I am Jenny, a licensed professional counselor who has been practicing since 2015 as a therapist with adults. I also have spent 20 years working with kids in schools. Now, I work full time in private practice and love being able to connect with clients in this way. I graduated in 2005 with a MA in School Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado.
My approach to therapy includes listening to you and what your needs are. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and mindfulness approaches to help you reach your goals. For those wanting EMDR, I am also trained in this modality.
When people are feeling disconnected to themselves and others, we will start by building a trusting relationship so that we can more easily explore the emotions and relationship cycles that are keeping you stuck. We then carefully examine your emotions and allow your natural growth and healing process to guide the way towards the changes you want to see.
