Great to meet you!

First things first, it is vital to me that you, my future clients, know that I feel honored to hold space for you. Yes, I understand how medications work, but the most important thing is that you trust that I believe that YOU are the best informant of your care. It is of utmost importance that my clients feel safe, heard, and respected. I have been providing patient care for over 21 years, and I bring all of my experience to serve with you with gratitude and understanding of my responsibility.

My approach to therapy

First, I will hear you out. Mental health care trauma is a real experience for many and I’m here to listen first then to apply the evidence-based knowledge I have and will continue to develop as your advocate and provider. Before we start or change medications I will always learn about your daily routines and challenges. If medications are indicated, I have no hesitation to discuss options, but my goal is to remind my clients of their power in directing their lives and to build on their strengths.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be challenged to see their life experience from varying perspectives and to be met where they are ~ It is an honor that my patients have expressed feeling safe to lay it all out and then together to sort out the pieces. There is no rush, we will go at your pace with an approach that comes from the experience I have gained treating people with OCD, Anxiety, Mood disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, and more. There are no challenges we can't face together.
