Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with adults navigating anxiety, OCD, relationship patterns, life transitions, self-worth, and cultural identity. My background spans youth residential settings, community mental health, group private practice, and facilitating mental health workshops for schools, organizations, and community groups. I bring a culturally responsive lens to my work, especially with AAPI communities. My style is warm, curious, and collaborative, with a focus on helping clients better understand themselves and move forward with more clarity and self-compassion.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I help clients explore anxiety, OCD, relationship patterns, cultural identity, family dynamics, and life transitions with curiosity and compassion. Together, we may look at what feels stuck, what protective patterns are showing up, and how past experiences may be shaping the way you relate to yourself and others. We may also slow down and pay attention to the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and body cues, so you can better understand what your mind and body may be trying to communicate. My goal is to support you in building more clarity, self-compassion, and grounded ways of moving through your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main goal is to get to know you as a whole person, not just the symptoms or concerns bringing you in. We’ll talk about what led you to therapy, what life has been feeling like lately, current stressors, relationships, family dynamics, coping strategies, and what you’re hoping to better understand or change. I’ll ask questions to get a fuller picture of your background, goals, and hopes for therapy, but you are welcome to share at your own pace. Together, we’ll begin creating a direction that feels supportive, collaborative, and grounded.
